The air quality index (AQI) provides information about how polluted the air currently is or will be.
When air quality is good, the air is clear and contains only small amounts of solid particles and chemical pollutants. Poor air quality indicates high levels of pollutants which makes the atmosphere hazy and dangerous to health and the environment.
The higher the AQI value, the greater the level of air pollution and the greater the health concern.
The air quality sensor was graciously gifted to the MSC by the US Consulate General Karachi.
